MetaPoivrot Posted Friday at 10:23 AM Posted Friday at 10:23 AM Dear Netduma Community, I recently encountered an issue with my R2 Router: When I test the speed on my main internet box I have: 832 Mbps (Speediest). When I test the speed on the 5ghz R2 Wifi I have: 72 Mbps (Speediest). on the R2 I did some troubleshooting in order to see if could find a solution: 2ghz and 5ghz are separared I moved the router to different places i rebooted the router I tried all the channels I tried all the bandwith when I tried the R2 speed test it tells me that the maximum speed is 420Mbps in the QOS menu the speed is set to 420Mbps the firmware is the latest one: 3.3.280 Do you have an idea of what could be happening and potential solutions? Thank you. MetaPoivrot
Krush Posted Friday at 11:03 AM Posted Friday at 11:03 AM Salut !
MetaPoivrot Posted Friday at 01:42 PM Author Posted Friday at 01:42 PM Hello!
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted Friday at 02:09 PM Administrators Posted Friday at 02:09 PM How have you set the box to ensure all traffic flows to the R2? E.g R2 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the R2? Have you entered your paid for/expected speeds into the router? How have you setup Congestion Control? Please provide a screenshot of the Device Manager table view
MetaPoivrot Posted Monday at 09:24 AM Author Posted Monday at 09:24 AM Hello Fraser, Yes, the box is only connected to the R2, all traffic goes through it. Yes all the devices are connected to the R2. Yes I entered the expected speed. Yes congestion control is active. Thx for your help!
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted Monday at 02:21 PM Administrators Posted Monday at 02:21 PM But have you set it in modem/bridge/DMZ if applicable? How have you set Congestion Control exactly? Click on Device Manager, switch to table view then provide a screenshot please.
MetaPoivrot Posted Tuesday at 09:58 AM Author Posted Tuesday at 09:58 AM Hello, I did not configure the DMZ on the modem. For reference, I always had very good speed without it. please find the screenshots.

I would definitely suggest you put the WAN IP of the R2 found on the System Information page into the DMZ on your modem. Click on Device Manager, switch to table view then provide a screenshot please.
