Krush Posted July 21 Posted July 21 ----------------- From the pictures I see, you just made a mistake in your wiring! You need to connect the R3 to your ISP modem/router... Modem/router - LAN Modem/router to WAN R3 - LAN R3 to your other devices!
Finkler Posted July 21 Author Posted July 21 Ok I can factory reset it and lyk but idk what those last things you said mean sorry.
Krush Posted July 21 Posted July 21 Test: Yellow RJ45 port of your ISP router to the Blue RJ45 port of the R3! (LAN FAI TO WAN R3)
Finkler Posted July 21 Author Posted July 21 Btw Krush I don’t understand what your saying as I already have it from lan to wan
Krush Posted July 21 Posted July 21 Do your devices get a local IP (DHCP) behind your Sagemcom router/modem?
Finkler Posted July 21 Author Posted July 21 I’m sorry I don’t understand you😂 im not a expert on this stuff.
Finkler Posted July 21 Author Posted July 21 Ik this sounds stupid but could my wifi extender or my printer have anything to do with it?
Krush Posted July 21 Posted July 21 I don't know! 😉 But maybe a video of your cabling from your internet source to the R3 could help!
Krush Posted July 21 Posted July 21 I agree with Fraser, if everything is wired correctly, it makes no sense.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 21 Administrators Posted July 21 You said in your other topic that you unplugged it and plugged it back in again, was it plugged back in in the exact same place with the same cable, no other differences etc?
Sentinel82 Posted July 22 Posted July 22 19 hours ago, Finkler said: This is what it’s saying This might be a silly question, but i thought it's worth checking - after completing the setup wizard under WAN, have you tried entering a specific Vlan number under the advanced settings? For me i need to input Vlan ID 10 in order to get connected to the internet.
RedBull2k Posted July 22 Posted July 22 If you plugged the ethernet from your hub straight to your console do you get Internet, take a pic of ur connection information taking note of lan ip etc.... just want to see what you get. Then we can change from dhcp to static using information we just previously found
RedBull2k Posted July 22 Posted July 22 Just to clarify I see your hub is getting its Internet connection via the ethernet wan, why not plug that cable into r3 wan and remove ur hub especially if you have an ont which im asuming you do
