@Nj12Jitter is not something that can be particularly controlled by the user. While congestion control can mitigate its effects, there is a limit to its effectiveness, and each connection is different because they are all related to the user’s Internet Service Provider (ISP). Though if you have excessive jitter like anything beyond 20-30ms, you should definitely get in contact with your ISP as that would, of course, impact your services.

Ok. They prolly wont do anything about it.

I'm lost... why

You adjust the slider’s controlling bandwidth percentage. And as you make the adjustments you then perform the wave form test on til you’re dialed in. Check your dm.

@Reykc9510This is because the ping optimizer is not entirely accurate. It utilizes the mlab test, which, from experience, is not reliable as it doesn’t count for bufferbloat but more so latency under no load or some but it is more based on web surfing rather than VOIP. In addition, you can’t pick the server manually through the Netduma router, so you don’t know what server it is picking; therefore, it is unreliable as you can be connected 200 miles away and that affects results, etc. It is something Netduma is trying to improve, but I can’t say much more than that...

I don't know where you got this idea from... but it has nothing to do with it... Ping optimizer is linked to a ping to a server (round trip)... not to a speed test! ...?

...Mlab is or was used on the R3 internal speed test live Wan to outside your local network...

Ping optimizer is an internal "Lan" test by pinging a server like 8.8.8.8/google.com and simulating a dl/ul bandwidth congestion locally, it tries to stabilize the ping response based on the simulation.
If the ping to the server fails then the test fails.

I’m in New Jersey, I set the geo filter over Texas and only play on that server. It plays best for me, not too many demon players.

Perhaps a bit, but I’ll trade off a longer wait time for a better game.

I got it dailed in now thanks. One question does lower the CC affect how my PS5 pro downloads updates to games?

Switch from "always on" to "low latency" when doing any large downloads.
