Black ops 6 help

Recommended Posts

Hello guys, first time posting on here.

im having really bad issues on black ops 6, I’ve had it on all call of duty’s since 2019.

my game feels 0.5 seconds behind everyone else, im shooting cotton balls and dying in literally 2-3 bullets everytime. I play mostly ranked play so I’m not sure if sbmm or anything else is affecting it.

1 in every 20 or so matches I get really good hit reg, I come top of the lobby by a lot, then the rest of the time I’m struggling to not come bottom.

my internet is virgin media 1gb download 110 upload, its not full fibre because they run on old copper lines I think, bt open reach full fibre comes to my area in the next 12 months.

I have literally tried everything possible to fix it and nothing helps, I have tried every suggestion on my R3, nothing helps I don’t know what the issue is.

I did the server block through windows firewall and it helped with public matches slightly but still feel behind most of the time.

does anyone have any suggestions that I might not have tried, I’m losing all hope.

thank you.

i get this all the time on black ops 6, at first i thought it was down to skill base match making algorithm, i’m not a bad player, but sometimes you can’t even pull the trigger and ure dead.

if i get 3-4 deaths in a row without a kill i just back out and search for a different lobby

i play mainly ranked play so that isn't an option unfortunately, thanks for the suggestion though

Li ho già provati prima, e altri simili, aiutano un po' ma continuo a divertirmi. Grazie comunque!

It feels like how closer you are by the server like Amsterdam then the games are s.it then

But also has to do with the server tickrate.

Yeah, i just wish i had pro level hitreg haha

  • How have you set the V Hub to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode
  • Are ALL devices connected to the R3?
  • Have you entered your speeds into the router?
  • How have you setup Congestion Control?
  • How have you setup SmartBOOST?
  • Are you playing via ethernet or WiFi?
  • How have you setup the Geo-Filter?

I have had VMHub in router mode with DMZ to R3, but currently using VMHub in modem mode and everything in the house connected to R3.

i have entered speeds and done the speed test but currently at 500 down/25 up.

Congestion control is at 98.5% for both, been playing around with it but seem to get A+ on bufferbloat, was trying to fine tune the jitter to be lower.

SmartBOOST is set as my PC top priority, setting call of duty series seems to have the same effect as others on here and makes the hitreg much worse.

Bandwidth Reservation ports 1-65535 UDP/TCP 4mb/s for all.

Using ethernet cable.

Tried steady ping on and off, bumped it up to different pings but i don't notice any difference when using it.

Geo filter off but have tried local servers but sometimes it would connect outside my range and then the game would stay on loading screen. Happened on both rocket league and call of duty.

This post isn't putting any blame on the R3, i have had this issue for years hence why i bought the R3 in the first place, just wanted to see if anyone had a miracle fix.

I think it is bad routing from my ISP, or call of duty is manipulating my gameplay but cannot see that happening in ranked play with no SBMM.

I do currently have an issue with the R3, it says

We have detected that some features may not have loaded correctly. You might encounter issues while interacting with DumaOS, but you can still try to use the interface.

i think i just need to factory reset the R3 but hard to find time with everyone relying on the internet through the day xD

Can still access router setting through 192.168.77.1, just dumaos will not load.

 Thanks for your reply.

You can disable Geo-Latency to prevent the games outside your radius.

I know, didn't think you were but I just want to check everything is as good as possible on your side.

I've given you Early Access, see if it is any better on that version https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/

Maybe this tip can solve your problem. It partially solved mine, but it's playable!

Here's what I did: I performed a factory reset and then installed firmware 4.0.478 (I don't recommend it as it has many bugs).

However, I believe a factory reset alone might solve the issue for you!

After configuring the R4 with the provider's username and password, I disabled UPnP, disabled SmartBoost, and ran a speed test. In QoS, I set 25% for download and 50% for upload. That's it—I kept the settings as simple as possible.

In the bufferbloat test, I got the lowest latency I've ever seen on my connection.

In Warzone, my shots hit hard, and it doesn't feel like I'm lagging!

Maybe this will work for you too!

Netduma R3 doesn't deliver what it promises, so keep its configuration as simple as possible to avoid overloading it.
