Wr3ck3r
Does the R3 support the Marvell AQtion AQC113C network card? This card is supposed to be backward compatible (10GBASE-T/ 5GBASE-T/ 2.5GBASE-T/ 1000BASE-T/ 100BASE-TX). Before I returned the R3 I owned, I wasn't able to get a signal to the router until I added an additional network card to my pc that wasn't 10G. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 18 Administrators Share Posted August 18 Any router should work with any network card really, I've not specifically heard of any incompatibilities with any network cards over the years - it may be you needed to change it's mode specifically on the card to 1000 for it to work correctly. My network card is an ASUS XG-C100C 10G PCI-E with a marvell controller and I have never had any problems with either R2 or R3. If I were you, I would go to the network card options and check the speed & duplex option, this should be in auto-negotiation or 1.0 Gbps Full Duplex which is the maximum that the R3 can handle. Regards and good luck Just checked...the card was set to: 10Gbps Full Duplex I'm surprised that this is the default setting for that card. Thanks for the suggestion. I never would have thought of looking at that. Now I have it set to Auto Negotiation. I actually reordered the R3 now that I have more information on how to set it up properly. Fuzy
By default, network cards like managed switches are auto-negotiating. It’s actually astonishing! Glad it worked for you! Netduma Fraser and titofuenla
