DARKNESS
@boothaySo you have internet connection correct? If so try changing the MTU to 1472 or 1473 on the console and check if that solves your issue...if your on ppoe you'll need to go 1462 or lower. You can also check https://homenetworkgeek.com/mtu-size/ to check out if it's the mtu size that causing issues but in most cases it just a sony thing were there mtu sucks and needs to be set manually for some reason don't ask me why but it something that other users in other forums have reported and seems to be an issue to this day when it was supposedly fixed around 2015-2018. boothay
Hello , thank you soo much for that information. I went into the ps5 internet settings and set mtu.. to 1473 and on my netduma I set it to 1488 … due to the video in your attachment. Which I did the tests to find out which one was the right MTU for me… still not working . I’ve attached pictures of my store tabs… this is all of the time. TrayDay
What's some of the fixes you've tried? You tried changing DNS on the console itself? Placed your console in the DMZ of the R3? Checked if a different IP using a VPN, help? It may be something a dev will have to look into eventually, as I too have a problem but of another issue. Yes, the DNS will carry over to the PS5. Did you ensure that 'Use Upstream DNS' was disabled / unticked, in the WAN settings?
boothay
It’s ticked, just turned it off. What does this do for me?
TrayDay
6 minutes ago, boothay said: It’s ticked, just turned it off. What does this do for me? You're now using GOOGLE DNS on all the devices behind the R3. Your PS5 was still using your ISP, DNS.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 20 Administrators Share Posted June 20 In addition, disable Adblocker on the router for the device, does it work then?
boothay
No sir, still not working after alot of reboots , after changing settings... So heres a list of everything I've done to try to remedy the situation...I changed the MTU size, Ad blocker was always disabled. I've disabled "Use Upstream DNS"...I used google DNS ....1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8. My ps5 is hardwired into the second slot behind my PC
