OK ! Your Asus router allows you to have access to the IPv6 Internet (Which services only use IPv6?...) but concretely what does it give you more than IPv4 Internet?

(Don't take it personally, "it's a personal question" because the IPv6 internet is for me at the embryonic stage mainly for public services like online gaming etc... (the 2 "internets" only communicating by Tunnel depending on the ISPs). ---The majority of global ISPs do not offer it!--- In any case, will this deprive you of users/services who do not have access? (not sure that its use is an advantage...there is proof to the contrary ?)).

In any scenario where the in game ping is higher than the Geo-Filter that will be the game processing delay, it's not something we have any control over but it can be used as a measurement to see how overloaded a server is. As long as it's not 30ms higher than the Geo you're good.Ā

Do you have Ping Assist enabled? Are you changing Geo settings between matches?Ā

Just to clarify, the lower upload speed you only see on the console but other devices you see the normal speed? 20 is absolutely plenty for gaming so that wouldn't be the cause of your in game experience. It would be worth doing a factory reset as it's a big update and may run smoother after that.

No specific reason, it won't always be a bigger file.Ā

It is yes but it doesn't have remote logging enabled so if that's something you'd rather not have then would recommend using this one.Ā

You'd need to contact them for the config file but looks like they don't provide it unfortunately from the above comment.

Clear your browser cache/cookies and you should be able to load the devices and select them.

May be best to factory reset as it's a big jump in firmware and should then run smoother.

Thanks, I will pass that onto the team to take a look at.Ā

If you click on the device there, does it show filtering is enabled?

Disable IPv6 in LAN/WAN and it should work then.

Clear your browser cache/cookies and you should be able to see it then.

It is disabledĀ

@Fuzypersonally with ipv6 open the game works better, i tried it with another router before i got this netduma r3, and it generally lags when you are in the middle of a battle someone kills you and it feels like you got killed very fast. I can't explain it exactly, you have to play to figure it out with the original carrier router I didn't have this problem

Is this actually appearing as a pop up window? What page is it happening on?

Double NAT would generally indicate if you're using the DMZ on the upstream router that the IP has changed and so you may need to update it.

Hey - this is what I see when I click on the host (is this what you meant?). The top section doesn't seem to load properly. Is that where it's meant to show the filtering thing you mention?Ā

Ā

Not on the host no, if you go back from that view then click on your device name

Cant find any lobbies in cod, searching without ping. When i found a Lobby is these are a high ping lobby with packetloss. i dont believe in this router anymore

How strict are your Geo settings? Was the game within your radius? If so it did its job but depending on the server it still may be a bad experience if its under load for example

That's all fine, you should have plenty of servers there, did you change the Geo settings while you were already on the game?

No, I started the game and looked for a round. Geo was on I disabled it, steady was on I disabled it nothing works

Great. Any chance you can fix my random crashing.Ā

I've had virgin for 10 years and its never crashed. I spend Ā£180 on this router, ive had over 5 since feb, and it gives me slower speeds and higher ping to boot.

Regretting my descission to buy it tbh.Ā

An easy fix would be a scheduled reboot, pretty basic feature its missing.

If you check the IP on the device itself then check the IP for the device you think it is on the Device Manager do they match?

What do you mean by crashing exactly? If you make a support topic then we can help otherwise we don't know you're having the issues. What is the speed you pay for/expect, what are you receiving? How are you testing the speeds? Is this in game ping or somewhere else? How have you setup the Geo-Filter/SmartBOOST/Congestion Control?

Could you clarify, is the issue that SmartBOOST doesn't allow you to add a game/service/device or that once you do you're getting lag? Could you provide more information about how you've tried to add it, what game/platform you're playing on, what ping you're getting, how you're using the Geo-Filter and Congestion Control etc.

Use the Simple mode instead of Custom Mode to filter. Switch Steady Ping to Simple or disable it - you've set the target ping to be below the lowest ping you can achieve to a game according to Heatmap. Congestion Control is too high, try 70% for both download & upload. You can only use Activities or Devices at one time on SmartBOOST not both, so no need to add your device. You don't need the DMZ and port forwarding enabled for the console, choose one or the other.Ā

Good evening, I received my netduma R3 today. Very fast delivery however it has already been opened and the cardboard is slightly torn. considering the price, I'm disappointed. It is unacceptable to receive a product that has already been used. Currently in version 4.0.20, I cannot update it. Additionally when I define my connection radius, it will connect outside and yet I have deactivated geo latency, ping assist at 0 and strict mode. Thanks for your help.

Good evening, Thank you for your reply. Currently I am in 4.0.20. On the other hand, is it possible to select the new update directly from the file on the PC because I couldn't find it. Otherwise regarding the connection problem in the area that I indicated, can you please give me the reason why it selects a server outside the radius despite the fact that I have deactivated geolatency, ping at 0 and active strict mode. thank you in advance.

Hello, I have constant disconnections to the Blizzard servers. I have disabled geo-filters and don't know what to do anymore. I've only had problems since the update. Firmware 0.24 was the best firmware for meĀ

Have you done a factory reset since updating? It's a big change in firmware so would definitely suggest doing so as it'll be a lot smoother after that.
