There's no goal, it's just a question. Wanted to know what others do, I saw online some turn it off when they use DMZ

It really depends on what you are trying to achieve like Toddzilla has asked. 

If you have other devices in the house that may need ports to be opened then keep upnp enabled whilst also using DMZ. 

I suspect you may be getting confused with opening ports and UPNP being used at the same time which you cant, especially if you have devices trying to use the same port as you will see an error.
