spacialrend Posted March 12, 2024 Posted March 12, 2024 It's as the title says. If I open Twitter/YouTube, a lot of the previews don't load until I reopen the apps 3-4 times. I'll attach a video to help you guys understand. I've tried changing DNS on the dumaos app to Google DNS but it doesn't help. Do you guys have any suggestions? I didn't have this issue with my other routers. 400 down + 400 up. Record_2024-03-12-11-21-26.mp4

Record_2024-03-12-11-21-26.mp4 Turn AdBlocker off on the R3, restart your phone, do you then see the images?

Have you tried reinstalling the Twitter app? I use Twitter/X over Wifi on my R3 with AdBlocker on and i get all of the pictures loading fine. What if you just use the app on 4G / 5G ? Do the pictures load then?
spacialrend Posted March 12, 2024 Author Posted March 12, 2024 Yeah man, tried all the basic troubleshooting steps. I've tried it on mobile data and everything loads quick. Just unsure what the router is doing to cause this 1 hour ago, DanologyUK said: Have you tried reinstalling the Twitter app? DARKNESS Posted March 12, 2024 Posted March 12, 2024 It most likely how the device handles frequency and it just not communicating properly what I would is change the frequency bands if your using 5ghz change to 2.4Ghz and check if it still occurs.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 12, 2024 Administrators Posted March 12, 2024 Could you try disabling IPv6 in WAN/LAN as well please and see if that makes any difference

How did you come to that conclusion when wifi is clearly working to generate the text and profile images correctly? Surely it would be all or nothing if it's wifi related?
DARKNESS Posted March 12, 2024 Posted March 12, 2024 Well I have a device that does this so that how I fixed it…So did you try splitting the bands and checking whether one works properly?

DARKNESS Posted March 12, 2024 Posted March 12, 2024 You could either try and see if solves it or not do so as stated before it can just be a communication issue with the device.

I dont have an issue with Wifi as mentioned up above. Maybe you should be @ing the original poster.
DARKNESS Posted March 12, 2024 Posted March 12, 2024 What your OS and is it just happening to one specific device?

Connecting to either router now doesn't give me this issue anymore so I guess it's a win. Krush 1

I'm the same user with the G router as my primary router from my other post. So essentially instead of using the R3 as my primary router, I switched back to the G router as primary (modem cable plugged into the wan port here). And then ethernet cable to R3 WAN. Now, if I'm connected to either router, previews work fine although interestingly enough the G router is slightly quicker in loading these previews. Netduma Fraser 1
