Could you provide the logs from Settings > Troubleshooting > Advanced when it happens please? That'll give us an idea of what is happening.

If you download the logs using the button at the top and provide it here that would be better. What firmware version are you on?

What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to?

Basically, DMZ allows all internet traffic to freely flow into the R3 without any firewall blocks. If you dont do this on your ISP Modem/Router, you will get double NAT if using it for gaming etc.

Yes you should enable DMZ as it will prevent you from accessing game servers. For example, with a Double NAT, you wont be able to join an Xbox Party Chat and if you can, you wont be able to hear anyone. This is the same for accessing many more different types of game servers for all consoles and PC

As above. I wouldn't have thought it'd really negatively impact your connection at all, may have just been that game. Networking has lots of variables so games can vary game to game all the time

This almost sound like the issue I have.

Have you tried to disabling SmartBOOST just to see if that stops your WAN loss?

I would also suggest disabling IPV6 on both LAN and WAN if you have bot done so already.

Give it a try and see if that corrects the issue.

Ive just created a post in the DumaOS forum as i have this issue now where im losing wired connection and tried to download logs but nothing happens and that is due to the app not requesting File and Storage permissions.

should I manually put the speeds or let the r3 auto get them for me?

Set the speeds manually, the test it uses, depending on your location to it etc may give you lower results. See what you get using speedtest.net

Yes because this restarts the WAN part with the new configuration!

As above but the connection should re-establish itself

Can I get some help setting my bridge mode on the R3 Im a lil bit lost

The R3 doesn't have a bridge mode, do you mean on your ISP router? Access its interface and it'll be there somewhere. I couldn't say specifically where it would be as it differs between routers
