Not sure whats hapening

Recommended Posts

Not sure what's happening with my R3... I have updated to .40 and now trying to play COD is next to impossible.. I am getting huge studdering/lag issues. I have updated to .41, have done a hard reset and still the same issue. I try playing with my ASUS router and everything is good and smooth... I am at a loss of what can be happening.

Check you Nat in cod you might find it is moderate.

I have gone back down to .23 as with .40 and .41 have Nat issues with Xbox and cod and other network devices.

Hi, Yes I have the ports forwarded and they show an open NAT.

If that is the case you have open nat still think there is an issue in firmware causing nat issue.

I can get an open nat on Xbox but not in cod. 😬

. 23 has been best firmware for my internet connection. Everything seems to work ok

Huge improvement then using my beast XR700

The only issues was the cpu causing ping spikes. That I did not really find an issue with as game play still felt amazing and on another planet / level then using XR700 👍

I am happy to keep using .23 until a more stable firmware is released in the future. Have faith the boys at Netduma will crack it eventually like always.

Just wish the board members would not rush the boys into releasing firmware and let them do it at their own pace. 👍

From what I've seen there may have been some server issues yesterday, if you try again today does it work better?

This has been happening since I was sent .40 on Jan 15. As mentioned I can use my ASUS router and no latency or shuddering issues.

Is it happening still on .41?

It probably needs port forwarding, we're working to improve UPnP

What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode. Are ALL devices connected to the R3? How have you set Congestion Control? Are you using Steady Ping on the Geo-Filter?

Here is my ISP Modem, It is currently in Bridge Mode. My UL = 150 and my DL = 500

Yes all devices are connected to the R3 wireless except for my PC and PS5. These are hardwire with Cat6 cables. I am using Steady Ping on the geofilter and Congestion Control is set.

Disable Steady Ping, are you forcing the closest servers? Congestion Control is set how exactly?
