SamT98
Honestly ever since .23 update it’s been even worse than the original patch. I can’t sync any game properly even when refreshing the sync. Every button I press on the ps5 controller is 1/2 second too late especially when playing cod. My KD has gone from 2.4 to 0.9 ever since I bought the R3. Honestly wtf is it with this router? It’s a disgrace and an embarrassment. I feel sorry for the admins on here having to put up with this as it’s not their fault! I’ve done all the revert to old patch, factory reset then reinstall to .23. Made 0 difference if anything it’s worse as smartboost cog has disappeared from the menu. I’ve set upnp up but does literally nothing. Tried port forwarding again it’s like it don’t exist. Anything that’s automated on this router has to be manually figured out for example ping optimizer is broken and doesn’t actually optimise the ping settings for bufferbloat correctly as I scored C on waveform tests. I had to manually sit there for 3 hours playing around with percentages to get a score of A*! iOrcus
idvizual
Honestly after turning off WAN and LAN IPV6, it has felt much better. Speeds from ISP is 1000 down 40 up. I cut my speeds in half on the advance speed and then on ping optimizer to manually moving sliders on ping optimizer until I got an A or A+ on buffer bloat test. Oh and I just removed all priorities and devices on smart boost but kept it enabled. Idk but it has worked for me and my girl we both play cod on ps5. At 1st it was sketchy times where shots were not registering felt like my tracking was behind them but on my screen was dead on target or a bit past an enemy. Did little research on here what other guys had or what they've disabled and it somewhat is working. I also believe its servers 2 days straight after tinkering around I felt everything was perfect till last night where shots was feeling like mud. Could be Cod servers idk or I couldve just had a bad night cause my gf was killing it throughout the night so yea.. I also don't use steady ping me and my girl has felt a lot of latency when I put either consoles on it. So its completely out the picture for me. Administrators Popular Post Netduma Fraser Posted January 26 Administrators Popular Post Share Posted January 26 A new update is being compiled currently, it'll get tested a little bit more, if everything looks okay I'll allow people to try it out tomorrow. Thanks for the reply, it’s nothing personal to you at all. It’s just frustrating I’ve got an expensive bit of kit that simply isn’t up to the task it was designed for. I know Fraser would have no issue sending you .16 or .20 if you asked for it, I can also be available later for troubleshooting if you would like some help. However it looks like you live across the pond so it might be a little late for your end. I'm also available tomorrow morning, let me know.
