Ahmedpes
- I recently bought Netduma R3 and use it only for PlayStation 5 and play efootball, but 80% of the matches are lag and there is a delayed response, knowing that I selected the nearest server to me. - Is there any advice or the best settings for adding a PS5 device to Netduma R3 and the best settings for the game eFootball? - I have 5G CPE internet - ZTE 5G Indoor CPE MC8020 Router - I live in Kuwait and play on the Doha server in Qatar - Knowing that when I play directly from the main router, the game is a little better Thank you for your help and interest

If your ZTE router has WiFi, set it up so that it is in bridge or modem mode, you can also use the DMZ. Copy the WAN IP from the R3 (found in Settings > WAN) and enter it into the DMZ function on the ISP modem/router.
Ahmedpes
- At first, all the settings were automatic, then I tried changing the settings on and off, but without any effect in the game. - ZTE router cannot put WAN IP inside DMZ - all last configuration
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 15 Administrators Share Posted January 15 You're likely putting the incorrect IP in as it will definitely take it - it's not the 192.168.77.1 address, it's the one listed on the WAN Settings page. Congestion Control isn't doing anything as its set to 100, try 70% for download/upload.
Ahmedpes
- Ok I put it in dmz - And set congestion control 70% for both now - But When I run ping optmiz make no change said your ping already optimal in 100 % or 70%
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 15 Administrators Share Posted January 15 Ignore Ping Optimizer, just have it set to 70%. See if you have a better experience now

Ahmedpes
- I entered a speed of 250D 50U, knowing that the internet speed is more than 350D 70U with congestion control of 70%. However, I get a lag and also a steady ping that does not work continuously. Sometimes it starts at the start of the match and disconnects, and sometimes the match is good without it and sometimes good with it activated. I do not know the pattern followed. And how does it work, knowing that the server ping in the heat map is from 25 to 50, and in a steady ping match it is from 10 to 15 when it is activated, and in any case, I get a lag in most matches. - Is there a way to know if the next connection for the match is TCP or UDP? After researching recently, I discovered that matches with a TCP connection cause a lag and are p2p, while the UDP connection is fairly good. For that kind of game TCP should absolutely not be used, I'd find it very hard to believe they were using it but no you can't find out what your next match is. Try other percentages for Congestion Control, 70% is the recommended starting point but may not be the best for everyone. PharmDawgg
Ahmedpes
We have a tool to determine before a match if TCP or UDP, as well as the signal strength and server ping. I connected from the main router to netduma to my laptop and then PlayStation to find out what is happening through the tool. Here are some pictures to get to know the matter. - are duma can do like that

I'm not surprised it plays worse with TCP given how fast paced the game can play. If that's working for you to avoid the bad games that's great, I think it's probably too niche for us to implement though. Do try experimenting with the percentages as well.
