Just setup r3...having issues.

The speed test is not working for me and my ps5 is showing inactive while I'm playing. Ping optimizer is also not working. I game on my ps5. I would appreciate any advice! Thanks!

Cannot speak on the PS5 issue.  But the Ping Optimizer/Speed Test isn’t working for some including myself. As of right now no solution in place until Netduma devs return from Christmas break which will probably be Jan 1st.

I started mw3 and the ps5 started showing as active and priority started working. I guess it was just nba2k24 was not working with the r3. Thanks for the info!

Glad you were able to get the console issue sorted. We are aware Ping Optimizer/Speed Test isn't 100% reliable at the moment and it's something the team will work on when they're back from the holidays. Those features can still work, it just may not be every time.

Hey Fraser thanks for the reply, so I play NBA 2k24 and it does not show up that my ps5 is gaming because its not one of the 15 games that netduma has setup for like geofilter and smartboost. When I play MW3 it shows my ps5 is online gaming and it has priority on the smartboost. Does that mean that if I'm not playing one of the 15 games netduma has setups for that my R3 router isn't helping my gameplay at all? Because nothing shows on the router for priority or geofilter when im playing a game netduma doesnt have setups for. Thanks!

It doesn't show you're gaming at all with NBA on SmartBOOST? We'll probably need to get it classified. Add the PS5 as a device to prioritize instead and that will work. You should still see servers on the Geo-Filter - is that not the case?

Oh ok I see now and added the PS5 under devices and now its showing online for the device. The gaming activity still shows offline however.

Can you see servers on the Geo-Filter though? What firmware are you on currently?

I was just playing nba2k24 and seen a white dot outside the US and my filter range and clicked it while I was in a game and it appeared to be a host. I am on firmware 4.0.21.

I've sent you the .23 firmware which has Geo-Filter improvements, see if that helps at all

On the R3, go to the settings tab at the bottom left and then enter the troubleshooting section and at the bottom right of the window that opens it will say update firmware, press and select the file that Fraser sent you. refresh and wait for the page to reload.
