It's best to make a topic as I'm getting a ridiculous amount of DMs and it will be lost in the fray, making a topic is the best way to get support.

Have you completed the Setup Wizard? If so is there anything required for your connection, PPPoE, VLAN, DHCP identifiers etc? What is your physical setup?

Yes I did set up the wizard - using the ip 192.168.77.1. Didn’t work; soo I tried to advance WAN settings, skipped everything and so on. It kept loading, here’s the step with the no internet on the laptop.

from what I know, I can just connect my modem to the router.IMG_1171.thumb.jpeg.bf4a32669a30e058bd62860b07035962.jpeg

That sure looks a lot like a Arris NBN HFC cable connection.

You on an ISP that requires a vlan id? like tpg/iinet etc?

100% hfc. Jeez 😂

Yes, I am with tpg, where can I find this vlab Id?

depending on which firmware version your R3 is currently on will determine if it works (not sure if you need 4.0.20 or 4.0.21+ because I don't have it and have to use the old router).

Settings -> WAN -> Connection Type PPPoE for login/password stuff

Settings -> WAN -> Advanced -> VLAN and tpg is VLAN id 2

It literally loading this forever, I cannot load… I skipped everything from advance wan settings onward (unless it was required like the account and password).

I have sent you a message that allows you into the main wizard, then you can perform the update, that will fix the setup wizard issue so you won't get stuck again if you go through it, it will also fix VLAN for you so you should be able to get internet

I updated my firmware and added VLAN id 2… still nothing had worked……

edit: I just just disconnected and reconnected everything (my modem and router) and waited 10 minutes. I think it works now! Not sure what happened but I’m glad it works.
