Hello

I've just changed from the R2 to R3, went through the set up and it's up and running.  When my son tries to launch Fortnite, the game just sits on the connecting screen and doesn't go past it.  If I try loading it on my pc and all is fine.

The only thing that has changed in the set up is moving from the R2 to R3.  He is connected via a wired connection as well and has access to the internet and other games work. World of warcraft, Destiny 2 etc.

My PC is also hardwired into the R3

Hi there is a firmware update that should be released very soon to fix this issue. The Netduma team is aware of it and fixed this issue in the next firmware update.

I emailed support and they sent me over a patch. I updated my R3 with the file and It solved the problem. Connected to Fortnite without any hiccups and the match was smooth. The version number I got via a file that was emailed to me was - 4.0.20 Thanks guys!

I've sent you a private message

Just for info, if you are playing on XBOX and get this issue in the future,  it's not a router issue, the XBOX quick resume for Fortnite doesn't work in a lot of scenarios, so will just hang on that screen.

The fix is easy,

1. Press the X (middle) button on the controller.

2. The Game/ App side menu appears with Fortnite  at the top,  goto the fortnite (game icon)

3. Press the menu button (3 lines) and select Quit

4. Start Fortnite again

5 Game should load perfectly fine now
