Try setting your xbox to a custom port in the network settings. Then, forward that port so it uses something unique instead of the standard 3074 which MW also uses. Also, after adding ports to the R3, I would try and reboot the Modem/Router with the R3 powered down. Then after the ISP gateway turns on, bring the R3 back online. Also, what is the model of your ISP Gateway? I can see if there is a workaround for it.

I did everything as you wrote, but onGeo Filter and port forwarding is still inactive.

My ISP router is Fritz Box 7530

If you do a speed test in the console network settings and check the Network Activity on the router while doing that does it appear?

Device manager - online all the time
SmartBoost - is online for the duration of the speed test, then offline
GeoFilter - permanently offline

Could you make sure on the Xbox settings where you can use alternative ports that it is using 3074 then give it a reboot and see if it works then please?

Yes, I do like you said and no changes.

I had a similar issue. Going into my ISP modem/router and turning off UPnP and putting the duma ip in the demilitarised zone in the isp modem/router Fixed my issues. Hope this helps any.

I have a Fritz box 7530 as ISP and it does not have DMZ, only Exposed host, it is something similar. I did as you described, but still no changes.

Remove the port forwards now, you have an Open NAT now and they could be confusing the console, then reboot and check again on the Geo-Filter please. Could you also delete the device from the Geo-Filter, then just re-add it and check please

Do you want me to restart R3 and Xbox?

Okay, could you enable remote support in Settings > Troubleshooting please and we can get a dev to take a look on Monday. In the meantime I'll also take a look at the backend of the router to see if I can spot anything though I'm not a dev so would be best for them to take a look as well.

I did as you wrote, thank you very much for your help and time. I'll be waiting to see what happens next.

Great thank you, the team will take a look on Monday and we'll get back to you. Try not to reboot the router from now until then if you can help it so it retains any logs of when you were trying to get it to work

We're looking into it currently, it's more complex than expected but we'll get there!

If you have any new update please let me know.

Hi All,

Just received my R3 today and I am having the same issues. I am experiencing the moderate NAT on both my PS5 and PS4. The PS5 is also showing as inactive on the Geo Filter hut online in the device manager section.

I have had my ISP router in both modem mode and router mode, the R3 is currently in the DMZ on the ISP router but no change.

Prior to setting up the R3, my R2 was running multiple consoles all online at the same time with Open NAT's and no issues with all 3 in the geo filter and smart boost.

I am mainly posting so I can follow for any updates/fixes and also to let you guys know it seems more wide spread.

Thanks! 😀

You should be able to get them open by port forwarding, i.e. 3074 for one, 3075 for the other

Sorry to be a pain mate but could you be a bit more specific. 3074 UDP or TCP for one and then 3075 UDP or TCP?

I managed to get the PS5 open using 3074 UDP, but the other console is still moderate using 3075 UDP. Am I doing something wrong?
