scbba
Would it benefit me to get a r2 with t mobile 5g service or would I just be wasting my money? it works fine until congestions in the home starts like multiple tvs thats when I start getting packet loss
TrayDay
I say it's worth it. Your connection can still suffer from bufferbloat and should help with those packet loss problems. Each device in your household is fighting for bandwidth or the internet, and that's what causes issues when gaming. Also, the R2 gets updates a little ahead of other's as it's the latest from the "R" family. Here's a thread I did for T-Mobile 5G Home Internet. https://forum.netduma.com/topic/51378-5g-home-internet-is-possible/ scbba
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 17, 2023 Administrators Share Posted October 17, 2023 Great advice above, sounds like you would benefit greatly from the QoS aspect specifically. Wireless internet can be unstable at times as it is, so doing what you can on your end would make a big difference
