Question in regards to port 3074 for Xbox and ps5

I usually have port 3074 on for my Xbox series x but recently when I got my PS5, the port on my Xbox has changed to a different number 55374.

 

Is there a way to make sure the PS5 and Xbox use both the same 3074 port without changing? Or is it possible to make sure that Xbox stays on port 3074 while PS5 can use a different port. I want to make sure the Xbox atleast stays on that port and doesn't change.

Hi

you just have to deactivate upnp and reserve port 3074 on your Xbox with portforwarding!
you will have to put a static ip to your Xbox in the dhcp of the r2 also...

I'm on the XR500 and might get the R2 since it gets firmwares more often. But disabling the UPNP and then reserving the Xbox series x IP and giving it static reserved IP and then port forwarding 3074 for it? Should it be for TCP AND UDP? When port forwarding?. Also what would happen to the PS5 since upnp would be off?

You must reserve all the tcp and udp ports
The PS5 will have moderate nat but that won't really affect multiplayer.
