I can’t seem to find a concrete answer but is DumaOS classified games only for when playing games on WiFi? I have my Xbox hardwired via Ethernet so does DumaOS classified have any real impact on it or should I just turn it off?

@Netduma Fraserany idea why the classified games has a different ratio that causes this. I’ve tested that it happened whenever it’s on. Feels like a delay? Why it happens in general.

@Netduma Fraser I have an Xbox series x what would you recommend? Games console and then check the wan box? I’m hardwired.

Hey guys I was just wondering earlier today I had my dumaos classified games active and had noticed that my upload counter was significantly higher than my download counter🫠. I wish I had taken a screenshot of it before I factory reset the router but I belief upload was going higher and higher compared to the download counter when the red lights are flashing. what I also noticed was that call of duty specifically warzone begun to have this weird “lag” effect. It wasn’t actual lag such as rubber banding or anything but more like a server delay, but registration felt worse and I could feel my character delayed compared to the opponents. I’ve begun to notice that this happens when dumaclassified OS is ticked. my ISP is spectrum gig symmetrical speeds so more than enough bandwidth and no packet loss or signal issues with my line according to spectrum. Also I have the latest .134 firmware on the XR500. Any help would be appreciated!

I genuinely have a question that I can't seem to figure out what it could possibly be. So I mainly play MW3 and warzone. I use a CAT8 cable directly hardwired to my Xbox series x. With that said. Gameplay ranging from ping to aim assist to hit registration to literally even the lobbies I'm getting feel significantly better on wifi... I know it's sounds dumb but I'm genuinely confused. So I asked my buddy that works as a spectrum technician to come over tell me if it's a placebo effect and after about 6 hours we figured that it's not. I don't believe it's something specifically with the XR500 but the same thing happeslns with my linksys velop and Asus ROG strict routers as well. I even asked my brothers to tell me if they feel better gameplay wise on the 2.4ghz wifi and they agree it does vs Ethernet. Sorry if it's a weird question. Genuinely curious as to why. Thanks!

I've just always been an Xbox player so naturally always had a controller. It's just weird with my network infrastructure. I get 7-8 ping and my speeds are around 970DL AND 41UL no packet loss or anything. So yeah I don't know what it could be. Used to happen on my Xbox one as well. I've always had this isp so I don't know if it's oversaturated.

@TrayDayit seems that it happens on all the games now. I thought it was a placebo but earlier I had my friends over and they tried it out and felt the same as well. I don't know if it's SBMM but it differs from match to match in cod. Never consistent. It feel loose if that's a way to put it. I see alot of video where people are saying it's legal aimbot. I just don't get that type of effect. It's not just cod but all the other games too. The more settings I mess with on the XR500 the more it becomes worse. Especially when traffic prio is on.

@Netduma Fraser couple of weeks ago you had given me the beta access file and I tried that but things had seems to get worse. So I had outed the XR500 for a bit and factory reset it to the .34 firmware which seems the most stable. Hit registration and everything else feels sluggish. Unless the R2 is the way to go.

This is gonna be a really dumb thing on my part to bring up so I'm gonna preface this. Over the last couple weeks since the new update on warzone. I seem to get practically no aim assist. I went into the settings and triple checked everything. Everything is the same. I had switched to using my old Linksys router and it was doing great until it wasn't. So I switched back to my XR500 and seem to have no aim assist in game. It's a noticeable difference. Now when I bypass the router and connect my Xbox straight to the modem my connection on top of hit registration and aim assist feels amazing. But when I have the XR500 connected in between. It seems to disappear. My Xr500 is running .34 firmware. I have the spectrum gigabyte service. Brand new CAT8 cables all around. Checked all settings and nothing changed. I know I'm not a bad player either just a bit frustrated. I just want to know how I can fix that. Or get the same gameplay feeling such as when I directly connect to the modem. I added my stats from last season. Since this season the stats are bugged. Just to indicate I'm not a bad player or on a delivery because I play consistently. I just don't know what it could be.

@Fuzy I'm on the XR500 and might get the R2 since it gets firmwares more often. But disabling the UPNP and then reserving the Xbox series x IP and giving it static reserved IP and then port forwarding 3074 for it? Should it be for TCP AND UDP? When port forwarding?. Also what would happen to the PS5 since upnp would be off?

I usually have port 3074 on for my Xbox series x but recently when I got my PS5, the port on my Xbox has changed to a different number 55374. Is there a way to make sure the PS5 and Xbox use both the same 3074 port without changing? Or is it possible to make sure that Xbox stays on port 3074 while PS5 can use a different port. I want to make sure the Xbox atleast stays on that port and doesn't change. Thank you. @Netduma Fraser

I had a question if anyone knows about what ports in traffic prioritization for Warzone should I setup for my Xbox series x under advanced. I've seen some posts from people making traffic period for cod and doing 3074-3074 I've even seen 1024-65535 under advanced and then normal. Just wondering what I should traffic prio formmy Xbox series x for warzone under traffic prio. Thank you! When will the r13 beta firmware come out of beta for official release?

@Netduma Fraser I tried your suggestion of geo filtering away and using severe congestion control. But still facing the same issue. Latency is around 25-35 and my speeds are pretty good. Anyway I appreciate the help.

My buddy is in Iraq right now so we played on his server and he hosted so it was better. Reverted back to .134 firmware.

I also did 95 DL and 75 UL and no difference. I turned off qos as well and no difference. Getting instantly melted.

@Netduma Fraser @oRaGaMi I messed around with the qos settings a bit and did ping optimizer. My ping right now in cod is roughly around 25 ping which isn't bad. I did manual qos as well at 70/70 on both sliders but I'm constantly behind other players. No time to react. I know I'm not that bad at cod hahaha 🤣 it's weird I wonder why it's like that right now.

@Netduma Fraser tried the r13 firmware for about 8 matches on mw and then a few warzone matches on top of that. It's been really weird. I'm getting no aim assist at all. Yet I haven't changed any settings on my end. When I first booted up after factory reset it showed that dumaos was not loading and so I unplugged and plugged the router back in and it loaded in. After that I prioritized Xbox series x as a games console on the traffic priority and did auto setup. But I feel significantly delayed behind enemy players. It's almost not playable. Worse than before. Can't really understand why the performance would get worst? Should I revert back to old non beta .134 firmware?.

@Netduma Fraser thanks man you're a beast! Just got it downloaded the new firmware. Tried out auto setup and set up priority for the Xbox. So let's see. Also it says I can disable DPI but it's grayed out.

@Netduma Fraser ok will try that now. So I'll wait for the modem to fully booty up and then turn on the router and do the same and then set it up. Sounds good thank you. Is 2.3.134rc13 the newest beta build for the xr500?

@Netduma Fraserafter I update and factory reset. What is the sequence I should follow in rebooting the internet? I want to make sure everything is good. I unplugged my modem and factory reset my XR500 both are off. Shou I now plug my modem and wait for it to fully booty up with all the lights on and then plug in the XR500 and turn it on? Or should I plug the modem in (without it fully booting up with all light) and immediately turn the xr500 on as well? Also my Xbox is shut off but connected via wire to the router while all this is happening. Should it stay connected or should I connect it to the router after everything is set up. Also sometimes I've noticed that by plugging in the Xbox to different ports on the router specifically 1 and 4 the game feels different. Is there any reason for that? Thank you!

Long time lurker and just made an account. I just wanted everyone's opinion. I've looked around in the forum and seen many recommendations and tried everything from port forwarding to qos setting's and traffic prioritization. My router XR500 which has the latest .134 firmware on it, has my Xbox series x connected via hardwire cat8 cable. I have spectrum internet and my speeds are roughly 679 download and 25 upload. With that said I always feel seconds behind and it's most evident on warzone 2 ranked. I feel like people see me on beforehand and just destroy me. I'm a good KD player 3.3kd on resurgence and 2.5 on battle royale. But I've been noticing that happening. I have tried geo filter and everything. What could it be. I have also noticed that when I have QOS on and have traffic prioritization with duma os and or games console. My aim assist disappears practically. Almost none and feels (loose). Turning qos off give me somewhat aim assist back. Any ideas? Thanks
