QOS does not detect applications and ADBLOCK does not work, I reset and nothing, I think the problem is in the cloud... The Adblocker isn't going to detect games, it's sole purpose is to block ads - we can't have a list that blocks every ad on every device ever, any that it doesn't cover you can add manually, either individual sites or by adding pre-made lists you find online. Those services are likely out of date, add the PC with the Games Console service instead and it will prioritize in the meantime.

Es probable que esos servicios estén desactualizados, agregue la PC con el servicio de consola de juegos en su lugar y priorizará mientras tanto. QOS and ADBLOCK don't work, that's what I wanted to say.

Are you using the standard lists for Adblocker? If you manually add a site does it block it? Have you put your PC in the DMZ or made a Traffic Controller rule for it? The router is by default, when I play or use an application it does not recognize it as you can see in the screenshot, using Twitter and YouTube and it does not detect the applications. adblock doesn't work either

after a factory reset causes network monitor to stop working everything is unknown which causes qos to stop working and traffic prioritization no longer works. no games detected nothing. ive tried 10 13 and 14 beta version and the firmware before beta it still happens which tells me this is on yalls end. get it fixed Same error and no solution Rahb
 More JackPL
Is there any beta build available implementing wireguard vpn for dumaos? Before buying the router I found some posts by netgear programmers stating that it's almost ready (from 2022) What a surprise when I downloaded the newest firmware and I see it's still not ready in Dec 2024. That's extremely annoying that those devices age faster than netgear's programmers code.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 14, 2024 Administrators Share Posted December 14, 2024 I'll look into the detection issues mentioned, a cloud should be done but we need to fix the internal tool for this first. 7 hours ago, JackPL said: Is there any beta build available implementing wireguard vpn for dumaos? That's extremely annoying that those devices age faster than netgear's programmers code. There were a lot of issues with integrating it so much so that we decided to postpone it. That was about a year ago and since then we've updated to DumaOS 4 which the XR range won't get unfortunately.
Mushiiipeas
Right, so this is for anybody still considering this upgrade. Here are some things you NEED to know. ***PLEASE READ IT ALL FROM START TO END FIRST BEFORE STARTING THE PROCESS!*** it will take approx 2-3 hours so don’t do this thinking everything will go smoothly. it doesn’t work out like that. The longest part is doing a full reset (hitting the pin) & waiting for it to load/boot up. You will need to be patient because you will have issues. First of all, if you have ad block on your browser, DISABLE that first & see if you still have QOS issues. (That’s the main reason I upgraded as it wasn’t detecting or allowing me to add devices). Delete all cookies/history, close browser & restart the router. Hit the reset pin on your router if necessary, this is the quickest & easiest option as opposed to upgrading firmware (it will delete all settings you have so ensure you have a back up or saved settings if you want to change it back) if that doesn’t work then here’s what I did. Just remember there’s no going back & you can’t stay on this firmware as it has issues. You will need to follow through & this is the longest part. install the intermediary firmware. router will reboot. Log back into the router (192.168.1.1), try to install RC10. It wont allow you to as it will have issues with recognising RC10. Hit the reset pin on your router, (ensuring the power light flashes) & the router will do a full reset. (Note: that it does not return to previous firmware or uninstall intermediary firmware) when back on, you will have detecting internet issues, connection drops etc. eventually it will work & you’ll be able to get back into the router. (If you have - ‘you are no longer connected to your router’ simply refresh the page or type in the address again (192.168.1.1). I had to do this 3 times (hit the reset pin, wait for router to boot up, detect internet & go through the whole password set up process) then it eventually detected RC10, installed that firmware. Then installed RC14 after. Edit - I had issues 10mins into gaming which was causing jitter/stutter. I have now reverted back to the latest firmware. The issue was the same as a post above with the dpiclass died.

I appreciate you providing the steps that worked for you - I think stating it like that is incorrect though, that's your experience but it isn't like that for everyone - a year and a half after this was posted I think you're the only one to mention this was the process you needed to do.
