iAmMoDBoX
My top 5 was.... 1. Backup stuff 2. Reformat back to Windows 7 3. Enjoy For anyone who wants to know why, find the control panel on 10 in the same time it takes to click the start menu and click control panel on 7. ByMgRs
I spent 3, 3 (underlined) hours getting itunes working after I upgraded as it lost my library and then another 2 hours getting nvidia drivers working. It was worth it for the xbox integration in my opinion
iAmMoDBoX
I spent 3, 3 (underlined) hours getting itunes working after I upgraded as it lost my library and then another 2 hours getting nvidia drivers working. It was worth it for the xbox integration in my opinion I expected issues, but it was smooth for me. My itunes worked fine? Maybe bad luck? The problem for me is it's just not an intuitive or productive UI to use at all. I just don't understand what anyone at MS is thinking with this whole "app" and tile thing for an operating system. It's the reason why the X1 sucks and it's the reason why 8 sucked. You can't have a setting app, settings is something that should be easily accessible and constantly running to be opened immediately. On xbox how long does it take you to open your settings on a cold boot? Messages? Friends list? It's insane how slow it is compared to the 360 which always has critical stuff such as your friends list ready to go at the press of a button. Okay they brought the start menu back, great. But why does it need to be seperated alphabetically with big ass icons next to each application name making the list 5 times longer than it needs to be due to extra spacing? Do you know how unproductive that is for a work environment when you have to open something and scroll and scroll through a list that is unneccesarily long to find the program you want? Like I said, back to 7 I went within a few hours. XP was the best OS until 7 came out and if they keep it up with this crap we won't see another killer Microsoft OS for a long long long time. Ubuntu Iain? Lol.

toby jugs
I had to revert back to to 8.1 a known issue with hp pavillion and envy equipment where they won't always wake up again without a hard reset made windows 10 a right pain in the arse, I had to reset about 20 times before it hit my detonator, which is bloody good for me lol
procreate
I have to admit, win10 is a complete fail. I'll be on win7 possibly forever now. Not putting an OS on my machine that assumes rights of anything on it.

I find it painful to navigate, not only in how awkward it is but how slow it is - It's torture. I end up scrolling past things all the time because it sticks to things and then you press the button too many times. On the Xbox 360 (which was way better), it started going downhill when they introduced the editable avatar shite (to copy the Wii). I suppose they've tried to copy the Apple tile system with this and they've just made a horrible version of it. I know someone that works for Microsoft and everyone they work with hated the 'new' tile system when it was implemented. I have clients that phone me because they don't understand how to find things. I don't have the 'tiles' Windows operating system on a PC myself, I have whatever system was before the tiles - I don't know because I use the Mac 99% of the time.
