BzNsNvAPrSnL
I connected and activated the hardware as prescribed by the Netduma instruction card, and the prompts in the NetDuma Control Panel. The system worked fine. During my first Multiplayer Match on my Xbox One, a message on my desktop stated, the NetDuma Router was having difficulty sending out a proper Ping. After one match, I could no longer get a response from my NetDuma Router. I figured it might have been due to the lack of the VPN being set up, so I registered myself, on the Hide My Ass Network. (Being it is listed, as the go to site, for the VPN). I figured, this is the sweet setup, no worries..... Shortly thereafter, Safari states that there is no Internet Signal. I let a day pass, taking into consideration the HMA Network states in a disclaimer, that they may need a day, to verify funds. Ok. The next day, while trouble-shooting, I isolated my Xbox One, so it was the only device connected to my Netgear CM500 Cable Modem. The Internet works.... I then unplug my Xbox One, and plug in my desktop into the Netgear CM500. The Internet works.... I then plug my NetDuma Router into the Netgear CM500, Reboot the Modem and Router, and plug all devices into the NetDuma Router. I open a browser window, to open the IP to the NetDuma router control panel, the browser displays, No Internet Connection. I then performed a Network Diagnostic, and all Systems are a "Green Light". I am at a Stalemate.... Any direction to remedy this problem would be greatly appreciated. First thing i recon you do is to upgrade the router to a news firmware here is how to do ithttp://wiki.netduma.com/doku.php?id=manual_update After you done that could you use ether firefox or chrome to acces you R1 router as those are recomende browser to go with it. Next step is to reset both your modem and your router. Netduma Staff Netduma Crossy Posted July 23, 2015 Netduma Staff Share Posted July 23, 2015 First of all, welcome to the forum BzNsNvAPrSnL Follow these instructions for why the Netduma router may have failed to ping. I think it is probably because you had the VPN enabled or had your console enabled on the VPN. You don't need a VPN to use the Netduma It is actually not recommended to game through a VPN as it adds unwanted latency. Please set up the Netduma as below: Netgear CM500 >> Netduma >> Other devices (including Xbox). Then follow the steps below: Disconnect the power from the Netduma and Netgear CM500. Make sure the ethernet cable it connected to port 1 of the Netduma (the PoE port). Connect the Netgear CM500 to the power. Wait 30 seconds. Connect the Netduma to the power. Wait 30 seconds. With a device wired to the Netduma, type 192.168.88.1 into your browser. Can you access the Netduma control panel? With a device wired to the Netduma, type www.goole.co.uk into your browser. Can you go to the Google home page? Maybe you can already access the Netduma control panel because you said you did an internet diagnostics. I you can already access it, go the VPN page of the Netduma and disable the VPN. Then see if you can access the internet Post pack with how this goes. I'd also recommend upgrading as Lukasz said.
