Jonas
Hi, my geo filter doesn’t find American servers. My Setup: telekom DSL —> FRITZ!Box7510DG —>(lan) Netduma R2 —> (lan) Playstation4pro i get a connection but it doesn’t filter for American lobby’s. I always get a ping between 20-50 so there’s no way it’s any other server then a local one. So my question is. Do I need any settings to get access to the geo filter. do I need to set my FRITZ!box in bridge mode? do i need to set up DMZ ? Can you help me via TeamViewer 😄 Best regards Jonas Screenshot of the gel filter settings is attached
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 7, 2023 Administrators Share Posted February 7, 2023 You need to set Ping Assist to 0, then it should work correctly Jonas

Jonas
What are the best filter settings to find American lobby’s from Germany ?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 7, 2023 Administrators Share Posted February 7, 2023 No real best in this scenario, I would just suggest keeping your radius on the East Coast of the US so your ping isn't as high
Jonas
Okay 👍 is it normal to wait 10-20 minutes for a lobby? can I get lobby’s faster if I Setup the ports for my PlayStation to get an open nat-type ? Or anything other than that
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 7, 2023 Administrators Share Posted February 7, 2023 It depends, try this: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager (if on PC) Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter with the manual option Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client Then see if it works better and gets you games faster. It would be beneficial to have an Open NAT if you don't already (NAT Type 2 is Open) as it can influence who you're able to connect to but as it's a server based game that is less important. Ivanbad
Question about filter. W/ ping assist on 0, and my radius on home location, why am i showing I'm in a different location? When my friends join who live where i do, their icons show they are in my province of AB, but it shows I'm all the way in Cali?

You will not show on the Geo-filter map, there will not be any icons to denote your location. The server you're seeing in California is likely an authentication server. This server is whitelisted so you can connect to the game, but will not affect your gameplay or which server you connect to in any way.
