Fatih
In the past, I used to see graphics while doing Ping correction, but now the graphic does not appear, and I can't figure out why my internet is often cut off..
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 2, 2022 Administrators Share Posted October 2, 2022 Could you try again with a different browser please? When the internet disconnects does it reconnect on its own, do you have to reboot etc? Does it happen for all devices or specific devices? Do you still have access to the interface when it happens? Fatih
I am connected to the modem interface. but I can't connect to the internet. Even if I turn the modem off and on, it won't connect. it only connects when the Mac address is reset. When I turn off the modem, I connect to reset the Mac address again. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 2, 2022 Administrators Share Posted October 2, 2022 When you say modem do you mean the R2 or your ISP modem?
Fatih
It would be unfair to call R2 a modem because it's a space shuttle :)) Of course I'm talking about the r2 router.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 2, 2022 Administrators Share Posted October 2, 2022 What MAC address are you referring to, your PC or the router MAC? What firmware version are you using? What is the model of the modem/router the R2 is connected to?
Fatih
I'm playing ps5. I cannot connect to the internet without resetting the R2 modem Mac address. r2 software 3.2.453. The modem connected to the R2 is ZTE.

As you're still able to access the DumaOS interface, can you please download a copy of the log file from System Information -> Logs when the issue next occurs and send it over to us? Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 6, 2022 Administrators Share Posted October 6, 2022 Thanks for that, in Settings could you set the DHCP lease time to 168 hours, disable IPv6 in WAN & LAN, then reboot from the interface, wait 2 minutes and see if it works better then please. How are you resetting the R2 MAC Address exactly?
Fatih
I do the reset from the reset Mac tab in the picture.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 6, 2022 Administrators Share Posted October 6, 2022 The next time it happens, don't reset the MAC address, look on the System Information page, does it get an IP address? Is your MAC Address Cloning option enabled or disabled?

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 6, 2022 Administrators Share Posted October 6, 2022 On the ZTE set a static IP for the R2, that way it should always get an IP and should get internet. Once you've done it reboot the R2, wait 2 minutes and see if it works without resetting the MAC address.
