OK, for the sake of troubleshooting the R2, please do the following:

  • Disconnect the R2 from power
  • Disconnect the WAN cable from the R2
  • Wait 10 minutes
  • Reconnect ONLY the power cable
  • Wait 5 more minutes
  • See if you can access the DumaOS interface at 192.168.77.1

You won't have an internet connection, because the WAN cable is disconnected. But if the modem was causing any problems this method will at least allow you to access the interface.

The Kaon is just acting like a normal router then? Does the R2 show as a connected device? Can you put it in the DMZ?
