i made a meme yesterday  on reddit about how this game refuses to put you in decently pinged games.

so today i decided to run a study with my net duma. with the east side of America selected, how long will it take to put me in a game. the Ohio server wasn't selected cause it will throw me in the 50 pings games there. and the GA server wasn't selected cause i get massive packet loss there regardless of ping.

so it was only the NY and NC and VA (there  is a VA server that pops ups)  server selected.

this was the next few games

1 game took 8 mins 30 Secs to find.

next game took 16 and a half mins to NOT put me in a game.

Next game after a re-search took 6 and a half mins

final game took like 4 mins and 20 ish secs.

like bruh. to further test this, i went to MW to see how that would go, and i was getting into games with very short search times in 4 games. the longest I waited was about 2 mins and that was for my first game outside of shoot the ship. the next game was in that same playlist. shoot the ship got my last 2 games.

IDK what it is with VG , but this game match making is broken to levels unseen in a COD game where its the main title.  people can argue that this is the netduma  doing that, but there is no way that this game is really having a  hard time  putting me in suitable games   in METRO AREAS (im a nyer).     meanwhile  MW a 2 year old  game  is  almost putting me in games  in double or  triple the speed, if not  instantly.

what is yall experiences?

When I used to specify East Coast servers they were filled with hackers. No I'm not exaggerating. They were using the hard stuff. Silent aim, instant aim, etc. None of that pacifist stuff.

What ND Fraser says is right. I don't understand why. I have found Midwest excluding Texas and west coast to offer a better experience even though the ping is slightly higher. But yeah I can get into the service much faster.

If they pulling players for this so-called shadow banning they should have servers in each region.

I never found such servers on the West Coast and upper midwest. It's like the quality of servers seems to depend on what region you're in.

Because I can play in most regions with no problem. Higher ping doesn't really affect me that much. Except for going to the east coast and southern east coast servers. That's where I find a higher concentration of cheaters and odd lag behind the server issues.

It's my opinion we should be looking at the quality of service per region. Although there's no real data to suggest what's better or not other than incidental experiences. I've been moving around from region to region for a long time because of this.

For me the game plays the same from 19 to 55-60 ping. But that's reverse boosting.

In regular lobbies I can have a 19 ping and get lag comp. So you also have to factor in eomm as well.

Needless to say that seems to be a quagmire of layers involved into the experiences that we're getting playing online.

And, the only way you're going to get decent hit registration and movement speed with a ping of 19 and lower is with a bot account. A regular account just wouldn't work.. at least not for me it hasn't.

When you get fed up of this nonsense one starts to get creative.
