Does it say failed, stuck on connecting or is it not changing the IP for your device? Can you provide a full page screenshot of the VPN page please? Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 19, 2022 Administrators Share Posted June 19, 2022 So previously I mentioned that the basic setup of HybridVPN for HMA may not work as we need to update it, therefore you should use the HMA configuration files with the advanced setup instead to connect. Have you done that? When xr500 users use HMA, is there anything else to check besides the latest firmware update and HMA usage code? I can't figure out why because it's been used well. The servers you are selecting on the Basic setup are out of date, they will not work without us updating them, so instead you need to get the config file and use it with the Advanced setup instead. Download the file for the server you want to connect to: https://vpn.hidemyass.com/vpn-config/OpenVPN-2.4/TCP/ Copy and paste the contents into the configuration box on the Advanced Setup, enter your VPN username/password and connect. I was giving up, but thanks to your help, I succeeded- I still don't understand why it has to be applied so inconveniently to succeed. One thing you should know about HMA is they don't hide anything. They keep records and they will turn those over to authorities if requested. In other words if that movie company you just downloaded a pirate file from makes a request they will hand over your name and address!
