BL4CK OPS V3TRN
Hi All, The last two days I have not been able to connect to Xbox , very strange and not experienced this before . Firstly my set up is as follows and has been this way for some time without issues SKY Modem - XR500 ( access point ) - R2 All wireless devices are connected to the acess point and wireless working perfectly . Apple TV and Xbox are wired via the R2 and again no issues until now . Apple TV is working still and streaming content just fine . Xbox shows NOT connected and I can't get into any online games , strange thing is when I go into the Network menu of the Xbox it shows connected and I can clearly see the IP address and DNS etc yet the home screen states not connected . The Xbox does appear on the R2 device manager as LAN and shows Online with the correct IP ! When I test the connection within the Xbox network menu it mentions no DNS detected or something like that So far I have re booted every device and hard re set the Xbox on a number of occasions , unplugged everything left it for 15 mins yet the problem is still there Any assistance or ideas would be appreciated , Have been with Duma for many years and can usually fix past issues easily but this one has got me !! Thanks

Thanks Which firmware version are you using? Could you try disabling filtering mode in Geo-filter and see if it can then connect? If not, can you then disable IPv6 from the LAN and WAN settings and try again?
BL4CK OPS V3TRN
Using 394 firmware , none of above worked . I have resolved though by manually changing the DNS on my Xbox to google 8.8.8.8 . If I change back to Automatic the problem comes back . Anyway back online now Thanks
