R2 not working at all

I bought the R2 when it came out. It only gave me problems from the beginning. First, the wifi kept disconnecting every so often; I had to disconnect it and connect it to make it work. I have to admit that Fraser tried to help me with some updates, but they did not work, and I gave up. Since I wasn't playing much, I saved it to wait for more updates. I connected the R2 again today and checked if the recent updates fixed the issue. But, the router doesn't connect to the internet. The reset button doesn't work, and I cannot connect to the router's user interface. Wifi lights are turned off. I think my router was broken from the start. I shouldn't have given away my R1

Set a static IP on the PC with the following details

IP address: 192.168.77.100

Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

Default gateway: 192.168.77.1

If you're not sure how to do this, you can check this guide: https://kb.netgear.com/27476/How-do-I-set-a-static-IP-address-in-Windows then try accessing 192.168.77.1 please and see if it works. Then you can upgrade if needed or initiate a reset from the interface instead.

Unplug the router from power for 10 minutes, plug in, wait 2 minutes then hold the reset button for 30 seconds, then wait 2 minutes before accessing the interface and see if it works without static IP

I'm very sorry about all this. I still have the same result. The factory reset button does not work. I tried five times and nothing, I even tried turning it off for 10 minutes on the last try, and nothing happened.

Could you please create your own topic describing your issue in as much detail as possible? We can then focus on your issue.
