Rickyrocks Posted March 10, 2022 Posted March 10, 2022 Hi i have noticed qos has stopped working and i have reset 3 times now can someone help me solve this problem thanks .
Netduma Liam Posted March 10, 2022 Posted March 10, 2022 What about it or the Congestion Control sliders are not working? How is the problem presenting itself? What troubleshooting have you done so far? What is suggesting to you that the sliders aren't working?
Rickyrocks Posted March 10, 2022 Author Posted March 10, 2022 Because when i do a dsl report or any speed test it does not change anymore
Rickyrocks Posted March 10, 2022 Author Posted March 10, 2022 I have turned it off and bck again I’m running ipv6 but never had this issue
Rickyrocks Posted March 10, 2022 Author Posted March 10, 2022 Even turning excess of still no change it’s stopped working but priority is working apparently lol
Netduma Liam Posted March 10, 2022 Posted March 10, 2022 In order for your speedtest results to reflect your Congestion Control settings, make sure Congestion Control is set to 'Always'. What device are you running the tests from and how is this device connected to the XR500? Have you made any changes, or have their been any changes to the network prior to when you started noticing this problem?
Rickyrocks Posted March 10, 2022 Author Posted March 10, 2022 I did turn off qos a long time ago could of triggered it but yea qos is not working anymore test are being done on Xbox series x and windows 10 laptop any changes i make are not being recognised i have reset 3 times and not going to do again what is it do you think ?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 10, 2022 Administrators Posted March 10, 2022 Are you referring to the speeds not adjusting based on your settings or the bufferbloat part of the test not changing? Can you provide a screenshot of your QoS page please?
Rickyrocks Posted March 10, 2022 Author Posted March 10, 2022 Ok so nothing works congestion control or excess or qos non of it is working or changing in speeds when doing speed tests on ookla dsl report etc.
Rickyrocks Posted March 10, 2022 Author Posted March 10, 2022 Not even the speed test is working on second try
Rickyrocks Posted March 10, 2022 Author Posted March 10, 2022 I’m referring to the speeds not changing
Rickyrocks Posted March 10, 2022 Author Posted March 10, 2022 It’s like qos is turned off but it’s on lol
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 10, 2022 Administrators Posted March 10, 2022 Could you do a full screenshot please, I can't see everything. What speeds do you pay for/expect to receive and have you entered those speeds in Bandwidth settings?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 10, 2022 Administrators Posted March 10, 2022 What speeds do you pay for/expect to receive and are those the speeds you have entered in Bandwidth settings? Are you using PPPoE, VLAN, DHCP Option 60/61 or IPv6?
Rickyrocks Posted March 10, 2022 Author Posted March 10, 2022 Ok so i turned off ipv6 now it’s working why is this
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 10, 2022 Administrators Posted March 10, 2022 Great to hear that, it's a bug on the firmware, it will get fixed
