Looks like it's the WAN port that's going down, causing the disconnections. Did you factory reset the R2 after you installed the latest firmware version to it?

What is the model of the modem/router the R2 is connected to? Give it another reset just to be safe - some users have reported a second reset cleared up some issues left over from the first

Keep us posted! Have you put the R2 WAN IP in the DMZ of the Sky hub? If not I would recommend doing so and then setting that IP as static/reserved on the hub and it may help to prevent the issue happening.

Yes i have. i put the ip that the sky hub was allocating to the netduma. 192.168.xxx

it was static before, it has been the whole time. i have reset it a 2nd time and now my vpn wont work.
