I am trying to do your method but when i try connect to the vodafone wifi it just says trying to obtain ip address

Any idea why it wont obtain ip address ?

It could be anything really, do you get internet via ethernet to the vodafone router?

No i am not. And when i go into the vodafone settings it says no ipv4 address which im asuming is the cause for no internet atm? Any ideas?

Is it getting an IP address from the R2? If you switch it back to the way you had it do you get internet? If so just leave it like that
