Ping differences

I have noticed that on Battlefield 5, the ping within the game is showing exactly the same as in the geo filter, but on Call Of Duty: Cold War, Vanguard and Warzone, the ping within those games is always twice as much as the geofilter showing the ping. Are call of duty servers that bad? And why is that? I'm on PS5 btw.

Processing time I believe is the difference with CoD.

So as above, all games have processing delay but not all games choose to include that in their ping calculation so BF doesn't, CoD does.

I've noticed this with PS4 as well, and I've attributed it to the added loops to connect through PSN. I play on PC now, but previously would test my connection on my PS4 Pro and it would constantly be 50-60 ms ping as a best case scenario, while on the same connection with my PC I would see 15-20 ms ping.
