zman1156 Posted September 20, 2021 Posted September 20, 2021 So currently i have my geo filter set to only one server and wait times are always long does fast search get rid of or shorten the wait time?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 20, 2021 Administrators Posted September 20, 2021 Fast search pertains to Ping Assist only, it will make the Ping Assist limit more of a suggestion in order to get faster games. If you're using just the radius then it is unlikely to make a difference. To speed up search times include more servers within your radius.
zman1156 Posted September 20, 2021 Author Posted September 20, 2021 Thanks Fraser. How many servers are ideal in radius for a fast Query time?
zman1156 Posted September 20, 2021 Author Posted September 20, 2021 Also has there been any difference shown between polygon mode and the radius mode?
Netduma Liam Posted September 21, 2021 Posted September 21, 2021 It's generally best to keep 3+ servers in your radius if that's possible. The main difference between polygon mode and radius mode is that you can really customise your search filter with polygon mode. It's good if there's any specific servers you want to make sure are included/excluded from your search.
