Netduma Liam
How did you factory reset the XR1000, from the interface or from the physical pin on the back? Could you please clear your browser cache too and see if the errors persist.

D3mon1c
Is it possible to downgrade the firmware to the previous version? Because I had 0 issues with that version honestly compared to what im dealing with now.
Netduma Liam
That's odd, yes you can downgrade firmware versions, this is the one you were on previously: https://www.netgear.com/support/product/xr1000.aspx#Firmware Version 1.0.0.52 After you've completed the downgrade, I'd suggest factory resetting again. D3mon1c
I tried to update it to the last version and all it keeps telling me when I try is "Plz assign the correct file. The file format is *.chk"
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 12, 2021 Administrators Share Posted August 12, 2021 You need to unzip the file, extract the .chk file and then upload that to the router
