MrRelentlessUK Posted June 1, 2021 Posted June 1, 2021 I have all my devices set up to my R2 My Sky Q boxes through out the house are connected Main Box and all Mini Boxes, But they keep getting disconnected randomly For them to get reconnected i have to either power off the R2 or just reboot via the R2 page Which is a pain every time Any fixes?
Netduma Liam Posted June 1, 2021 Posted June 1, 2021 Sorry to hear that! How are the sky boxes connected to the R2, via wired or wireless? If you reserve an IP for the Sky boxes in Network Settings -> DHCP, do they continue to disconnect?
MrRelentlessUK Posted June 1, 2021 Author Posted June 1, 2021 WiFi but that doesn't appear to be the problem, It's just the disconnections I will reserve the IP of the boxes and see if that helps thanks
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 1, 2021 Administrators Posted June 1, 2021 In addition to the above, change the DHCP start address from .2 to .50, then for any reserved rules you make do them between .2 - .49 that will completely rule out DHCP if there is an issue there
