Comp0za Posted May 31, 2021 Posted May 31, 2021 as the picture shows, why does it say that I have another extra IP adress on devices? The extra one is showing the same ip on all connected devices https://imgur.com/a/3E9iyXz
RedBull2k Posted May 31, 2021 Posted May 31, 2021 I believe this has been answerd already here. Basically that ip address has been assigned by your upstream router. before duma os boots up the r2 acts like a access point.
Comp0za Posted June 1, 2021 Author Posted June 1, 2021 I don't have R2, I have XR500. What is upstream router?
Netduma Liam Posted June 1, 2021 Posted June 1, 2021 Your upstream router is your modem/router provided to you by your ISP.
Comp0za Posted June 1, 2021 Author Posted June 1, 2021 aha, but I only use my XR500 router. I just restarted the router and now it's gone.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 1, 2021 Administrators Posted June 1, 2021 The IP there is given when the device hasn't been able to get a normal IP address so perhaps you had no internet, it got that IP by default, internet was established hence why you then had the normal IP and the old IP was still mentioned as the device is still connected. Glad it's sorted!
