itsPierat
Hello, I sometimes get this error message when trying to resync the cloud. Rebooting the router does fix it but it comes back every few days. I have already done a factory reset as well. Thanks, Justin
Netduma Liam
Welcome to the forum! Are you only seeing this error when resyncing the cloud? Is this in Geo-filter or in Ping heatmap?
itsPierat
I've only experienced it in the Geo-filter, not the heatmap, but I don't use the heatmap all that much. Resyncing the cloud appears to be the only thing that triggers it but it doesn't happen every time.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 28, 2021 Administrators Share Posted April 28, 2021 Are you using an Adblocker on the web browser at all? If so can you disable this please, refresh the page and see if you can reproduce it?
itsPierat
I'm not using Adblocker, never set it up, I don't think I've even opened that rapp.

Could you please disable that and refresh the page without cache (CTRL + F5).
itsPierat
The error isn't there right now, and no I don't use an adblocker extension in my browser. I just double-checked my extensions and the only ones are for Google Docs and Sheets. I was just reporting that it has occurred several times in the past. I don't believe the issue is the browser because I can leave the browser window open when the router reboots. Once it reboots and I refresh the page, the error goes away. I don't have any way to test anything right now because I'm not getting the error at this time.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 29, 2021 Administrators Share Posted April 29, 2021 Next time it happens right click on the page, click Inspect Element, go to the console tab and expand that window and take a screenshot please. Also try to make note of exactly when it appears i.e. after clicking these options etc
itsPierat
I got the error again, here's the screenshot of the console.
Netduma Liam
Thanks for this, and when did the error occur? Was this after clicking a particular button or function of Geo-filter? After re-syncing the cloud perhaps?
itsPierat
this time it just popped up while I was sitting on the geo-filter screen. I didn't click anything, it just appeared after like 10 minutes.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted May 5, 2021 Administrators Share Posted May 5, 2021 Do you have it pinned to the dashboard at all?
itsPierat
No, I haven't changed the dashboard at all, its just the way it is when you first get the router.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted May 5, 2021 Administrators Share Posted May 5, 2021 This is quite an out there idea but in the 3 dot menu on the top right of the interface could you enable the accessibility mode and then refresh the page and see if the error is still present please? itsPierat
That did not fix it, I even tried Ctrl+F5 after enabling accessibility, the error comes right back.
Gunganator
It can be reproduced by choosing to resync the cloud and refreshing the page before it's finished and the only way I found to stop it is to reboot the R2.

It has also come up without me clicking anything, just sitting on the page while playing a game then I check the router and find the error. I know rebooting makes it go away but I'm hoping to find a permanent solution.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted May 5, 2021 Administrators Share Posted May 5, 2021 Do you leave the interface open for long periods of time, perhaps even when it isn't being used?
itsPierat
I open the interface right before I open my game, and it's up while I'm gaming. I don't leave it open for extended periods of time other than while I'm gaming.

itsPierat
As much fun as this has been, I fully expect that the router I paid for to work as its supposed to. Instead of sending me on wild goose chases when the issue is clearly with the geo-filter rapp, as evidenced by a simple search of this forum, please come up with a fix with the information you have been provided. If you can't, then my next steps will be to initiate the return process. I don't mind some simple troubleshooting, but this has gone beyond what I'm willing to tolerate. Again, fix the problem or I'll be expecting a full refund.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted May 6, 2021 Administrators Share Posted May 6, 2021 We've got all the information the developers need so they're aware and looking into it, we're just doing our due diligence to see whether there is a way to recreate it or prevent it happening. With the information we currently have we can't suggest a 100% fix it would require more troubleshooting, if you don't want to do this then you can see the return terms here: netduma.com/terms
