Blair garrett Posted March 25, 2021 Posted March 25, 2021 I set up an account with pure vpn to use the vpn hybrid however when trying to change area its says connecting instead of connected. And it doesnt allow me to change modes on ps4 to allow vpn

We need to update PureVPN as some servers are out of date, try a few other servers and see if they connect. When the console is greyed out that means it is applying to the whole device, it is the only way to apply the VPN to it - you can't specify services etc.
Blair garrett Posted March 26, 2021 Author Posted March 26, 2021 I have tried multiple servers all saying connecting rather than connected and when using geo filter it still puts me in my local server when i have geo tagged to a completely different server
Netduma Liam Posted March 26, 2021 Posted March 26, 2021 What version of the OVPN files are you using, as far as I'm aware there's two with Pure VPN? How do you have Geo-filter configured? Are you using Polygon mode or a radius? Ensure you have Filtering mode enabled as well as Strict mode.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 26, 2021 Administrators Posted March 26, 2021 We'll need to update those VPN files then so in the meantime you'll need to obtain the config files from PureVPN and paste the contents into the advanced setup on HybridVPN and then it should connect.
