JoeT
Hi, my Netduma R2 is not connecting via WiFi or the DumaOS on my browser. The Internet is connecting via Ethernet cable from the modem to Duma but The port continues to flash when plugged into my modem and will not connect to WIFI. (I have internet connection hardwired but WIFI and 192.168.77.1 will not connect) I have tried to reset it holding down the button In the back for 30 second and no results. Almost feels like it’s not even resetting to be honest, nothing happens. I have also tried pulling the power cord as well and same results. This all happened when I tried to reboot my Netduma via the DumaOS reboot option in the browser and since then it has not worked. Can someone please help me with this problem? It sounds like the Wi-Fi password is incorrect, we've been seeing this issue lately. Could you please connect to the R2 via wired and go to 192.168.77.1 in your browser. Then go to Network Settings -> Wi-Fi, here you can see what the correct Wi-Fi password is, I'd advise making a note of this as this is what the R2 will default back to if you factory reset it. We're working on a firmware fix for this issue in the meantime.
JoeT
The browser does not allow me to go to the 192.168.77.1 address. It times out because the site does not respond. @Netduma Liam
Netduma Liam
Are you connected directly to the router via an ethernet cable? Do you otherwise have internet access?
JoeT
Yes I am connected via Ethernet. I do have internet this way. The Netduma router does not have WiFi at all. The light next to the power light keeps flashing. Also the Ethernet port one keeps flashing as well. Netduma doesnt show up as a network that I can connect to via WiFi which also doesn’t allow me to connect to the DumaOS desktop. I only have internet with Ethernet cable plugged in. @Netduma Liam

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 19, 2021 Administrators Share Posted March 19, 2021 Thanks for that, you're getting a public IP, was that direct from the R2? Set a static IP on the PC itself using this information and this guide (control panel) https://pureinfotech.com/set-static-ip-address-windows-10/ 192.168.77.2 255.255.255.0 192.168.77.1 DNS 192.168.77.1 and see if you can gain access. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 19, 2021 Administrators Share Posted March 19, 2021 It would be ethernet preferably. Hold the reset button for 30 seconds, release, wait 2 minutes then try accessing again using ethernet please.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 19, 2021 Administrators Share Posted March 19, 2021 Unplug the WAN/Internet cable from the R2 so only your PC and power is connected to it. Disable your PC WiFi if it has ethernet and WiFi so you're only connected to the R2, you should have no internet and then see if you can access the R2 please.
