Netduma Liam
Sorry to hear this! Is it just the Wi-Fi that you're having an issue with? Are you able to access the interface when the Wi-Fi drops occur?

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 11, 2021 Administrators Share Posted March 11, 2021 Hey, welcome to the forum! Have you changed any of the WiFi settings at all other than the SSID name and password? Do you notice it happening on wired devices as well? What is your exact physical setup? What is the model of the modem/router your R2 is connected to?

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 13, 2021 Administrators Share Posted March 13, 2021 Have you tried modem > old router > R2 yet to see if that prevents the disconnects?

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 13, 2021 Administrators Share Posted March 13, 2021 So connect your old router to the modem, connect the R2 to the old router and then see whether the disconnects are as frequent/if they stop

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 16, 2021 Administrators Share Posted March 16, 2021 On the old router give the R2 a static/reserved IP address and put that address in the DMZ. Then reboot the R2 from the interface please and see if it is more stable.
poggersman
is there like a video or something  on how to do this because I don't know how
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 16, 2021 Administrators Share Posted March 16, 2021 That depends on what the old router is, copy the WAN IP from the R2 System Information page. Access the old router interface, the DMZ is probably in Firewall, WAN/LAN or Security settings and then paste the IP in and apply.
