XR500 Dropping WAN 1 or more times per day

I have an XR500 setup connecting to Cablevision Arris 1602A cable modem with Dynamic IP

The XR500 is running firmware 2.3.2.66 I have the MTU at 1400

When the wan drops out the WAN light is still lit white

Any direction to figure out what is causing the WAN drop would be helpful thanks

So when these drops occur, you still have access to the interface? Are there any entries in the logs around these times?

Perhaps try accessing the Arris interface and assign a static IP to the XR500 and put its WAN IP in the DMZ.

yes when to Wan drops out I have lan connectivity

the arris modem does not allow any customization is read only 

the pic of the logs is all i have

perhaps you can try setting a static IP from the XR500s network settings then and see if the drops continue?

The Arris cable modem gives me a public IP address. I you saying make the WAN IP static based on what the Cable modem issues?

I believe that is what Liam was referring to yes, depending on how often your IP changes though that may not be viable.
