Yes tried both ways, just issue with upload,  especially with my speeds

Have you got any Traffic Prio rules, traffic controller rules etc? Any other custom settings you've done?

Using a router to do pppoe and connecting the xr1000 now the qos doesn't work at all any ideas thanks

So your setup is modem > router doing PPPoE > XR1000 - PPPoE removed?

How are you determining it's not working exactly as that's very odd.

speed test giving me full bandwith however yes XR PPPoE REMOVED set as static correct the asus dsl ac88u is doing the modem / router now and the xr1000 just connected off via ethernet cable , thanks

Also wifi signal is very poor soon as you leave the room it drops to 1 bar on both 2.4 and 5 ghz

What are your QoS settings when it is giving you bandwidth?

Use a WiFi Analyzer - there is a free one on the Microsoft store for Windows 10 and change to the least congested channels. Also have your antennae setup like this: _ | | _ 

Are there are wireless or electrical devices near to the router? Is the router in/on a metal stand?

Got it set to always 50/50 however its allowing full bandwidth,  I will give the antenna a try could be my issue on that on thanks, just this qos now

Can you switch Bandwidth Allocation to Devices, then reset distribution and see if it works please?

Nope still allowing full bandwidth,  just seem to have issue after issue but hey the position on wifi antennas worked a treat, but can't get qos to work

Good to hear about the WiFi. Could you put the XR in AP mode please and then test it - that will essentially DumaOS entirely and help narrow down where the issue could be.

Yes but it is just to test whether DumaOS itself is the cause or not

Just an update it appears the r-app error appeared again everything I went into the QoS so a factory reset the QoS is working again, problem is I shouldn't have to keep factory resetting to get things to work then again to find another r app to fail in days or weeks to come, I'm sure dumaos or the xr1000 has some serious bugs

Sorry to hear that, we will have another update fairly soon I think and hopefully it will be more stable
