It takes anywhere from a minute to 10 or 20 to come back online. I can unplug and reset the router to get it working again. If so, do you notice any entries in the logs around these times? Short answer no. When it drops out I lose connection to the router completely via LAN. UPDATE As of yesterday the drop outs stopped. EXCEPT now my 2.4ghz network shows online on the dashboard but nothing can connect to it. You logs would be clear when the router reboots, so if your last drop was 4 hours ago that would make sense. Did you get a chance to try the Wi-Fi analyser as Fraser suggested? I did but he asked to connect to the 2.4ghz network and I only can select the 5 so you are right the router is rebooting and clearing logs. I enabled smart connect again and rebooted. The router would always reboot but 5ghz devices would reconnect automatically and 2.4 would not. Now both bandwidths will not automatically reconnect. Again this failure to automatically reconnect to the network is not every time, but does seem to be increasing in frequency. yes. My xr500 rebooted at 12:04 last night and I had no devices connected as of a few minutes ago do about 6 hours. So nothing reconnected all night (I can see connection logs on those devices). Performed a manual reboot via a power disconnection and I am back to normal. This XR500 is going on 4 plus years. I am wondering if it’s time to just scrap it. I will try to disconnect the line adapter when not in use and see if that makes a difference. Like I said it was happening before, but maybe it is making it worse? Yeah I don't see why that would make a difference to be honest, disconnect it and see if the drops are any less frequent so we can rule it out though!
