Buttabelafonte
Hi, I am trying to connect my mesh extender to my Netduma R2 but am having issues. The mesh extender I am using is the Netgear X6 model EX7700. I can't connect via WPS because the R2 does not support this function. I tried connecting via wireless with the Nighthawk app but no luck. I follow the steps but once I am supposed to connect my extender to the R2 they won't connect. I am unsure if there is a setting in the routers software that will make this possible. Anyone with experience in the situation is welcome.
Newfie
Your best bet is to wire into the extender with a pc or Mac, if not possible an iPad can set it up but I never use the app as it’s not great. if you can’t wire up use a tablet, phone and connect to extenders WiFi then click the link below and select the right link in the document. https://www.mywifiext.net worth noting it can be hit or miss with devices behind these as a wireless repeater but in Access mode all devices show as wired. Off course access mode is a wired connection from the R2 to extender.
