Tejjo
Hello Everyone, I am facing wired problem with my XR500 modem, I am trying to set up a local NAS by connecting external storage to the router (via USB). After basic configuration and creating a network share, the windows machine cant hold the network drive constantly gets disconnected and can't reconnect. Even the network speed is terrible the data breaks and fails to copy. I initially thought that the problem is with my external storage so swapped with a brand new one (SSD Drive), but still the same problem. Any help is much appreciated. Netduma Liam
Hi Tejjo, How are you configuring this? Using Readyshare within the XR500s config? Could you share a screenshot of your current configuration if possible?

Fuzy
If you are on windows 11 or "10 to verify", the smb1 is not activated by default, which can cause problems. Type in the search bar of the taskbar "activate or deactivate windows features. Check the client smb1 / applied and restarted the PC!
