patnj Posted November 2, 2020 Posted November 2, 2020 Hi, During the setup wizard (after factory reset), spaces are not allowed in the Wifi SSID name (Network name), however you can workaround this by editing the SSID (Network name) later from the "Network Settings->Wifi" tab, which allows spaces to be entered. @Netduma Fraser can this be addressed in the next firmware release. This caused an issue when upgrading from .138 to .179 following a factory reset.
Newfoundland Posted November 2, 2020 Posted November 2, 2020 Yes the SSID name should have a space if ones needed. did you reset using software or rear pin after update?
Newfoundland Posted November 2, 2020 Posted November 2, 2020 I never use the software reset, I use the pin hole method as I’m not loaded in the GUI.
Administrators Netduma Alex Posted November 2, 2020 Administrators Posted November 2, 2020 That's a good catch, thanks for pointing it out! I'll make an internal bug ticket.
