Boonedawg OG
I bought the new xr1000 netgear gaming router today! Woohoo! Saved up the extra dough for a couple of months, was so excited! Until I spent the last 4 hours trying to find the link or website to download the netduma software. Nowhere in the box or the netgear website or the netduma website can I find the information to download the netduma software, which is one of the main reasons to have this nice of a router in the first place I think! Can someone please help me out here? Thx :)
Zippy
I believe the XR1000 should have came preloaded with DumaOS on it.. What do you see when you log into the UI? Also if this is the XR1000 then this will need to be moved to the Netgear support section on the forum.. Netduma will respond and help you further Welcome to the forum btw. Thanks Zippy. Newfie
As Zippy says it’s preloaded so on the setup as you run through it all will became apparent. If however you have the normal GUI of the RAX50 you will need to return the item to the place where you purchased this from.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 22, 2020 Administrators Share Posted October 22, 2020 Hey, welcome to the forum! There is nothing to download, you just access the router via the web browser, default address is 192.168.1.1 but take a look at the guide in the box and that will tell you.
