Very expensive XR700, which gets naff all support from Netgear or Netduma, even when it comes to latest "software" it's bottom of the pile, hell there's even a new R2 came out with the latest adaption of the all singing and dancing software, but yet the XR700 can't even get a look in for a beta.....it would be funny if it wasn't so bloody sad. Wonder if the new software, either beta or R2, has an Allow and Deny service that works??? Allow Deny list Allow - 280 connections Deny - 315 connections Sick of getting denied connections coming up, so during last two weeks I compiled every time a denied connection came up on either Cold War or Modern Warfare; I have tried to group them together but its too much time checking each one individually, there was so many that came up (worse than I thought it was), reason I try to group together is the old argument of "some ID's look very similar so it may be that" this proves it's not!! Also what is with the large circle and small circle right on top of each other, when both there and I click on it it always shows a shit connection, but when the smaller one disappears (briefly) it then shows a totally different connection when I click on it, this mainly happens on the connection at the very bottom of UK, never seen it happen anywhere else whenever I connect. To take a positive, at least the denied connection tells me that it's crap before I join the game so I can leave before it starts, but that's beside the point, there is no point on having an allow/deny if it doesn't do what it says its supposed to be doing!!! Guilders Posted October 21, 2020 Author Share Posted October 21, 2020 @Netduma Fraser I have provided screenshots a few months ago, so don't feel by providing more screenshots of me being connected to a blocked connection will do anything to resolve the issue. I have added the previous screenshots I posted in previous threads, from July this year, I wont be getting any more. I'm away offshore tomorrow, but if I get time to get a screenshot of the smaller circle within the larger circle I will, its also worth noting that it comes and goes, but when the smaller circle is there and you click on it the ping details are completely different to the large circle ping details. I have heard the " Don't think it will be far away now " line so many times from threads I have read through and the odd threads I have started. and its been a few months since I looked on here, how long des it take to get a beta ready for the once flagship XR700....I think it will never come tbh. Guilders Posted October 21, 2020 Author Share Posted October 21, 2020 @Netduma Fraser We tried that back in July and I still had the same issue with denied connections coming through, the only way I was able to stop it was to disable auto ping, which did work for a while but lately its been getting more and more denied connections and I mean a lot more. It's the fact it's connecting to denied, but I very very rarely see an allowed connection, its almost as if its working in reverse!!! Here is the other screenshots I just got in relation to two connections showing above each other, it was very first log onto ps4, and first connection was a denied dedicated server 'sigh' Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
